Very Old things indeed

I have had a day away from the studio (February is a restful time of year) with fresh air and interesting company with leaders from the Yorkshire Wildlife trust. We went to Filey Brigg on a fossil walk looking at evidence of creatures who lived millions of years ago and also rock formations. a grand day out indeed, especially as it reminded me of a most enjoyable commission from a few years ago to make an oxidised silver and pearl necklace and earring set.

Inspiration and the chance to spend the day splashing about in rock pools in a pair of wellies grand.
